A Necessary Coup de'tat in Thailand?

Thai army chief, general Prayut Chan-ocha has seized control government in Thailand. The reason given for the take over? He said the army has to restore order and push through reforms. This happened two days after the army tested how the country and international community would react to possible full blown military take over, by declaring Marshal Law two days ago.

Thailand has experienced an unending political turmoil for months and all efforts at negotiation between rival political factions have failed. The General stressed the takeover will not affect international relations.

The military take over seems necessary giving the reactions of Thai citizens to their appearance on the streets. People are taking selfies with them, a body language that says -thanks for coming to save the country-.
