Police Hold Five Governors Hostage in Abuja

Police officers attached to the Asokoro police division on the 3rd of November held five Governors hostage in Abuja. The affected governors where meeting at the Kano state government Lodge in Abuja before they were raided by a detachment of armed police men led by Asokoro Police division DPO, CSP Nnanna Ama.

The governors are believed to be members of the factional PDP known as G-7, they are opposed to the leadership of the current party chairman Bamanga Tukur.

As expected, there was a confrontation between the personal security and aides of the governors and the raiding officers as the raiding officers where not allowed into the premises where the meeting was taking place.

I wish the President can show this kind of attitude towards corruption and other problems facing the Nigerian society. The President appears to be always energetic and enthusiastic towards anything that relates to his 2015 ambition, but after that, he is a total disappointment.
